Current Status

  • I was asked to refactor a half-finished feature today, and it was the most fun I've had writing code in ages. I spent the afternoon ripping out, simplifying, and deleting a bunch of stuff. And I wrote some pretty good code to replace what was there. Felt good.

  • Bottom line: if a plucky startup advertises on one of your favorite tech podcasts, DON'T BUY IT unless you want your privacy compromised sometime in the next five years.
