Context: I’m watching Metallica’s 1994 concert from Mountain View, CA.

The number of ridiculously heavy riffs that Metallica managed to write between 1980 and 1992 is unfair. No one should be able to do that.

Creeping Death is still so fucking heavy. 🤘🤘

And that wasn’t even what Prince was know for! It was just one facet of his personality. But man, he was amazing.

Not knocking Kirk or anyone else. It’s just that Prince was stiff competition.

I’ve seen so many amazing guitarists during my lifetime, and the thing I keep coming back to: Prince kicked all their asses.

Kirk Hammett is amazing.

Prince was better.

Metallica was so much better when they were political.
